IDFC Bank timings for fund transfers

For NEFT transactions, the processing window is open from 8:00 AM to 7 PM every day, excluding 2nd and 4th Saturdays and Sundays. However, customers can access NEFT services through online banking 24×7 without any charges for fund transfers.

Regarding RTGS transactions, IDFC Bank facilitates transfers from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on all working days, except for 2nd and 4th Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. Additionally, customers have access to Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) 24×7 for transferring funds to other banks.

To access the HDFC e-Passbook, customers can follow these few steps provided below:

  • Download the HDFC Mobile Banking app or log in to the HDFC Net Banking portal using your login credentials
  • Find the ‘e-Passbook’ section and click on it.
  • If you have more than one account, you have to choose the account for which you wish to view the passbook.
  • Then, enter your password for authentication.
  • Now you can view all your banking transactions and current account balance.

  • You have to enter some details like account number, card details, personal information, and the bank will send an OTP (One Time Password) to your registered mobile number for verification.
  • After entering all those, set up a user ID and password. A strong password is suggested, it will be a combination of alphabets, numbers, and special characters for 
  • After registration, you can log in to your account using the newly created credentials.
  • Most of the time the bank prompts users to set a security question and its answer to enable two-factor authentication, or link a registered device for extra security. Set something familiar to you as security questions and answers lest you should forget or get confused with it later. This is to help you recover your password.

  1. Go to the official website of your bank and log into your account by entering the login credentials.
  2. Click on fund transfer and select the account from which you want to transfer the fund.
  3. Select beneficiary. Note that the beneficiary should be added 30 minutes prior to the transaction. 
  4. Enter the amount you want to transfer and click confirm.
  5. Sometimes, you may need to enter an OTP sent to your registered mobile number to make sure that it is you who is initiating the transaction. This is to prevent unauthorised transactions.
