Top 7 released new Games of 2023 (so far)

Gamers have much to look forward to in 2023 as numerous exciting new games are set to be released across different platforms. The upcoming Xbox Series X games and PS5 games will undoubtedly steal the show, but several upcoming PC games and Switch games are worth adding to your wishlists.

Whether you prefer fresh IPs that offer new and exciting adventures or eagerly anticipate notable remakes and sequels, there is a plethora of games to watch out for in 2023. With so many options to choose from, gamers are sure to find a game that caters to their preferences and offers hours of fun and entertainment.

Sweet Alchemy 2: Slot Overview

The initial release of Sweet Alchemy did not enjoy the same level of success as other cluster-paying slot games like Reactoonz or Moon Princess. However, the quirky hat-wearing alchemist is back in Sweet Alchemy 2, a new and improved version of the game. The game’s setting is a sweet fantasy land with a gingerbread mansion on a hill in the top left corner of the display. Additionally, the game features an abundance of chocolate, which can block positions on the game grid, requiring players to remove them to progress to the free spins feature.

The game grid is a 9×9-sized board with 81 positions, but only a 5×5 space in the middle is active at the beginning of each base game spin. Players form a winning cluster by connecting at least four matching symbols vertically and/or horizontally. When this happens, the winning symbols are removed from the grid, and new ones fall into place, while an equal number of chocolate blocks are destroyed, increasing the grid’s size and letting more symbols in on the cascade. The game has medium-high volatility, and players can place a stake of 10 p/c to £/€100 for each paid symbol drop.

You can play slot games similar to Sweet Alchemy and many more in Lottoland India’s online casino.

Dead Space

Dead Space 2023 is a remake from the ground up of the survival horror classic. The game is a complete rebuild in the EA Frostbite engine, with “all new characters, all new assets, and new environments” based on original designs.

Peeling allows players to remove additional bones, tendons, and flesh from Necromorphs. This is a gore-fest for the visuals and also a health bar for Dead Space’s mutant baddies.

Age of Empires II Definitive Edition

Age of Empires 2 has been re-released, and it’s not new, but it is definitely improved. The game has aged well, but its years are still visible, buried beneath new art, polish, and numerous tweaks. The Definitive Edition is a hybrid between remastering and remake. It updates everything from the AI to the art and adds four new civilisations and three new campaigns. But, due to its reverence for the original, the changes are not as extensive as they could be.

Age of Empires 2 is still regarded with great reverence 20 years after its first release. Its uniqueness at a time of many excellent real-time strategies games has kept it relevant. Although its ambitions were the same as its predecessor, its second attempt at combining real-time strategies with city building and Sid Meir’s Civilization proved to be a much more successful one. It was a much better and richer strategy game.

Fire Emblem Engage

Nintendo kicked off the busy year on January 20 with Fire Emblem Engage. Alear, a red-and-blue-haired protagonist, is introduced in this Switch-exclusive. The latest Fire Emblem mainline allows players to “engage” heroes from the past of the series, including original protagonist Marth, a Smash Bros. staple. Alear inherits the weapons and skills of a past hero when he is “engaged.”

Atomic Heart

Since it was first announced, excitement for Atomic Heart has increased significantly. This is thanks to the steady stream of sci-fi trailers that showcase a Soviet setting, BioShock style, first-person shooter.

Atomic Heart could be a sleeper hit in 2023. It’s unclear whether that potential will be realized, but early impressions of Atomic Heart are positive. Our first hands-on Atomic Heart preview described it as “an engrossing, dynamic world with inspired art and enemy design.”

Atomic Heart features original music by Mick Gordon, a long-time Doom composer. It also includes compositions from the 1950s to the 1980s.

Forspoken

Forspoken was released on PS5 and PC in January after two delays. Square Enix’s new action RPG is worth watching for several reasons. The most important being the all-star writing crew of Rogue One’s Gary Whitta and Uncharted’s Amy Hennig.

Forspoken Isekai’s narrative concept has protagonist Frey being transported from New York City to Athia, an amazing world of mythology and magic. Frey will learn new abilities as she travels home. These include combat and navigation.

Horizon Call of the Mountain

Call of the Mountain is a bit like a Disneyland ride that borrows the experience of Horizon while still trying to maintain the same flavour. Your peaceful cruise will be rudely interrupted by a towering Tallneck dinosaur bot and soaring Stormbird.

Right from the start, the PS VR2 showcases its capabilities, presenting a stunning display of large-scale spectacle intertwined with intricate details. Every movement of your fingers creates delicate ripples in the water, while the massive machines’ footsteps send out thunderous splashes. The PS VR2 is an impressive showcase, demonstrating its ability to seamlessly blend the grand and the minute into an unforgettable experience.
